THOUGHTS FROM DOUG

Another reminder here – if you are unemployed and/or don’t have enough things to keep you busy, give serious consideration to volunteering at your local food bank. Create a little goodwill, and maybe some good will circle back to you.

I am very certain that uncertainty is very high.

Debt defaults are going to keep growing for a while.

It is unfortunate to say, but if Washington doesn’t come up with another stimulus…support…package, then insolvencies may explode across the country.

I've figured out how to get oil and gas prices to rise. It's easy. Elect Biden and the Democrats this November. Regulations will increase. Climate change court advocacy will increase. Access to capital will decrease. Production will decline, and prices will rise. Big win for oil and gas investors. Big loss for struggling global citizens who have to pay more for transportation and electricity.

When are we gonna cancel cancel culture?

So long as we protect the most vulnerable and our healthcare facilities, why isn’t building herd immunity the best solution to this pandemic? Because Big Pharma doesn’t get to make billions?

Who knew that science would become a social construct?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see initial jobless claims grow again.

Feels like we’re living in a bad dream. Who wants to run away from home with me?
